About Me
I am a contemporary Wedding and Portrait Photographer in the Home Counties area; Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. I take modern photos and images, with a classic and timeless twist that I feel displays both my diverse inspirations for photography and my unique flair.
The Business
I started my photography business JMPhotographic 3 years ago with the intention of creating beautiful and thought provoking imagery. I enjoy the process of taking photos through to the editing and finishing touches, not simply because I like to put my unique stamp on them, but also so that what is seen at the time of the photo shoot or wedding is captured in the awesome collection of images that you will have. When capturing images, I like to explore the uses of texture, colour and lines in my surroundings, in order to create fine and detailed 3 dimensional images.
How I work
I enjoy taking wedding photos because I feel that it is important to be able, not only to document and record the important day, but to have images and photos that evoke an emotional and personal response. I don’t take myself too seriously, I like to be able to have fun and have the opportunity to have images that not only reflect the subject but, also myself. I like to create memorable, enjoyable and exciting experiences; I’m the guy that’ll happily chase you around a golf course in a golf buggy to get that special shot!
You may think that I’m slightly on the odd half of the odd ball, truly, I’m not. Although, if you’re walking past a shabby looking but intensely unique bus stop, why not stop to take a quick snap?!
Photography to me, is not just a job or a career, but a lifestyle as I see photos everywhere!
