A couple more shots of the Deer here, the top one is my favourite from the set as I was able to create a frame within a frame with the trees. I have another shot from the same location that I took almost two years ago, you can see it on flickr here.
This post and the next contain a set of photos of the Deer at Woburn Abbey. I tried to get as close as I could without disturbing these guys. They’re very wary of what you’re doing if you are any where near them on foot but seem to pay little attention to the passing cars!
I have a ‘thing’ for photographing grass(es) I did a mini-project on it once (see it here on flickr). I’m not really sure what the attraction is. I like it’s abstract and random nature and enjoy the ability to portray it differently using varied lighting and angles.

Due to building work being carried out at home I’m currently staying in Harlington, a village just a few miles away. I decided to venture out and get some Spring inspired shots. I’m not entirely convinced that they all shout Spring but I like the shots regardless!

‘Basil’ as he is affectionately known is a male pheasant that frequents my Mum’s garden. I caught this shot of him flaunting in front of the lady pheasants a couple of days ago and decided it would make a great blog entry.
