Every year a volunteer charity organisation called SACA organise a bike ride between Birmingham and London, the ride spans across two days pausing for breath in Luton.
My good friend Gurdev was the official photographer this year so I thought I’d join him for part of the ride to watch him at work (and grab a few shots for myself!)
You can find out loads more about SACA and their charity bike ride here.

Hi!
What more can be said than it was certainly an excellent weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely take part again next year – got to, it’s the big one – 21st year of this event (I hope that’s correct). Thanks to all the support crew, from the marshals, ambulance crew, ‘mechanics’ and everyone who provided support at the pit stops. Thanks to the organisers for arranging the weather as well!
Hi,
We all really enjoyed the Bike Ride this year, it was very well organised. This is our 3rd time and are already looking forward to next year. Thanks to all the support from the Ride Crew/Marshalls, ambulance and police.
You can publish our pictures, we are Harinder and Manjit Grewal from Finchley, a unique set of husband and wife riders.
My twin brother and his wife plus their 2 kids also did the BikeRide for the first time this year.
Cheers
Harinder

I agree with the comments above.
This was my first bike ride and I was impressed with the organisation. The ride went like clockwork.
I would love to do it next year, and you have my approval to publish the pictures.

I’ve seen you come through Daventry the last 2 or 3 years but this is the first time I’ve looked up the website. Well done everyone and good luck for 2010.
