Lines and Textures

April 4, 2010

I love putting two slightly different images of the same subject together in a diptych like this

The lines in the field lead your eyes to look at the rest of the image

Some fun textures from a hedge

A slightly abstract tilt-shift shot

I was just driving past this field and the red houses in the distance really caught my eye, so I stopped at the side of the road and wandered over to the hedgerow to have a look. I really love layering elements, it’s something I’ve been concentrating on with my photography recently.
