Sunset Landscapes

April 26, 2010

I love the lines of this hedge following the road

A diptych of two fields close to sunset

I've added some foreground interest to this image by shooting from behind a hedge

I love framing through foreground elements as I have done here

A diptych of two fields of rape seed close to sunset

I've shot this one from close to the ground

I was expecting a very busy time this weekend. I had two photo shoots planned, a portrait shoot on Saturday and an engagement shoot on Sunday. The portraits on Saturday went really well, had lovely weather and got some fantastic photos in a local forest. On Sunday the weather was really ‘touch and go’ so we decided to postpone the pre-wedding shoot for a couple of weeks.

Even though I’d taken a couple of hundred photos on Saturday I still had an urge to take more on Sunday so I went out for a quick drive in the evening around some local countryside.
