This post and the next contain a set of photos of the Deer at Woburn Abbey. I tried to get as close as I could without disturbing these guys.  They&#8217;re very wary of what you&#8217;re doing if you are any where near them on foot but seem to pay little attention to the passing cars!

&#8216;Basil&#8217; as he is affectionately known is a male pheasant that frequents my Mum&#8217;s garden.  I caught this shot of him flaunting in front of the lady pheasants a couple of days ago and decided it would make a great blog entry.

I really don&#8217;t like these dark evenings, it seems like such a waste to not go out and shoot but there&#8217;s just not enough light (even with the 5DII!) This is where Smudge comes in, she&#8217;s always around ready and posed for a shot. The only problem is; her fur is so dark that it&#8217;s [...]]]></description>
