We spontaneously decided to visit Stratford-Upon-Avon this weekend. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a long journey but it took twice as long as it should have, we got stuck in traffic on the way into Stratford as there was a Food & Drinks Festival which we had no idea about!

This is one of my favourite landscapes I’ve ever taken. I love the contrast between the out of focus field and the sharp trees and sky, I always enjoy working with wide apertures and shallow depths of field to create effects like this.

More hot weather activities on Sunday. We went to Shuttleworth and looked around the Swiss Gardens there. 5 posts this week coming from Shuttleworth! Well worth a visit!

Just down the bottom of the hill there is a road called “The Bottoms” it runs past the house on the right and on to Sundon Hills.
