Shakespeare's House
Shakespeare’s House

We spontaneously decided to visit Stratford-Upon-Avon this weekend. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a long journey but it took twice as long as it should have, we got stuck in traffic on the way into Stratford as there was a Food & Drinks Festival which we had no idea about!

Flying Over the Swiss Alps
Flying Over the Swiss Alps

Just a quick shot from the airplane on our way to Malta. The captain told us to look out of our window for a fantastic view of the Alps over Switzerland so I took a photo. It would be awesome if you could just stop the plane wherever you want and pop in for a [...]

Woburn Lake Gazebo
Woburn Lake Gazebo

The Lake and Gazebo in this shot are fenced off from public access, I’ve noticed them whilst driving through Woburn a few times now and decided to see if I could take a look! I couldn’t get very close and I had to shoot through some trees but it was totally worth it for this [...]

Field, Forest & Sky
Field, Forest & Sky

This is one of my favourite landscapes I’ve ever taken. I love the contrast between the out of focus field and the sharp trees and sky, I always enjoy working with wide apertures and shallow depths of field to create effects like this.

The Bottoms
The Bottoms

Just down the bottom of the hill there is a road called “The Bottoms” it runs past the house on the right and on to Sundon Hills.

Displaced
Displaced

I’ve been meaning to stick this one on here for a couple of months. I really really love this shot. I’ve got a few outtakes here on flickr. I liked the other shots but this one really stood out for me.
I found this bath just sitting in a field next to this gate without a [...]

Harlington
Harlington

Due to building work being carried out at home I’m currently staying in Harlington, a village just a few miles away. I decided to venture out and get some Spring inspired shots. I’m not entirely convinced that they all shout Spring but I like the shots regardless!
I’ve been having a few issues with my website [...]

The Tree From Recede
The Tree From Recede

I’m loving black and white landscapes at the moment, I find that they allow me to convey the way I feel about a scene more than colour images. This is probably my favourite tree (not sure if that’s a strange thing to have?!) I’ve shot it a few times before the most popular image of [...]

Landscapes III
Landscapes III

Welcome to the last instalment in this landscapes series. I hope you’ve enjoyed it! The top image here is my favourite of the series. These two images were shot at Barton Hills National Nature Reserve – Barton le clay. There were a couple of rejects from this series that you can view on my flickr.
