Just a couple of photos from our visit to Stockwood Park a the weekend before last for the annual Country Fair. I took my camera along hoping for something exciting to shoot but it was pretty cold and windy and there wasn’t that much of interest going on so I came back with just a couple of shots.

Slightly random blog post today. I took my camera to the Focus on Imaging Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, thinking that I could get a few interesting shots to share with you on here. Well the exhibition really wasn’t all that exciting so I only ended up with a couple to share.

The first image was shot with a Canon 500mm F4 that I tested out – Crazy awesome lens! There really wasn’t much to shoot with it though.

The second image was taken about two hours into the exhibition. It’s surprising how tiring it can be walking around and looking at stuff! Gurdev and I took a break in a quiet corner and I ate some tasty cake.

The final image is entirely unrelated I was completely exhausted when I got home so I sat in the car whilst Kerry went into the co-op to get a can of coke. I liked the way my car headlights lit up the leaves on the bush so I shot a few frames!

We visited the Luton Fireworks Spectacular last night at Popes Meadow. It was pretty cold but totally awesome. There were more people there last night than I’ve ever seen before, it was insanely busy!

Welcome to the second post in the series from my holiday in Malta. This post contains images from the market in Valletta, Malta’s capital city.

It was very hot in Valletta so we didn’t stay for too long, as we walked back to the bus terminus we noticed the market and decided to have a quick look around.

Last in the shuttleworth set; I spotted this really cool old Lotus Elan + 2 in the car park and took a couple of shots. I really couldn’t decide if I wanted this one in black and white or colour so I posted both!

I didn’t even know there was a (ruined) castle in Berkamstead until last week when I was invited to go there for an awesome picnic. Thought I’d share these shots, they have a pretty summery, vintage feel to them. It was boiling hot all day which was nice! I took my old 400D with a Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens. It’s my cheap and light kit for when I don’t want to carry around the big one!

This last week has been so busy with part 1 of the street fashion/urban portrait shoot on Tuesday, Lydia & Justin’s wedding on Saturday and Luton International Carnival on Monday. I’ve taken almost 2000 images in under a week! Full blog posts will be coming to the front page of the site within the next few days with images from the 1st two events. I thought I’d stick the images from the carnival on here.

It was a crazily super hot day and there were thousands of people everywhere, oh and it was REALLY noisy! Had a pretty cool time though Loads of colourful costumes as you can see, the guy in the van stood out as something a bit different! I also got the mandatory feet shot at the end.

I’ve been meaning to stick this one on here for a couple of months. I really really love this shot. I’ve got a few outtakes here on flickr. I liked the other shots but this one really stood out for me.

I found this bath just sitting in a field next to this gate without a fence. Didn’t make a lot of sense really but I liked that!
