Fly on Lavendar
Fly on Lavendar

More from my back garden, this guy was just chilling out on this Lavendar flower. He sat there for a while so I got a couple of good shots despite the super wide aperture.

Lavendar
Lavendar

I’ve been useless at posting to the photoblog this past month. I’m gonna try and make up for it with lots of great posts this next month! Shot of Lavendar taken in my back garden at the weekend.

The Bottoms
The Bottoms

Just down the bottom of the hill there is a road called “The Bottoms” it runs past the house on the right and on to Sundon Hills.

Tree Abstract
Tree Abstract

Here’s another shot that I took a little while ago but only just got around to uploading! I saw this tree whilst out shooting other landscape and nature shots and thought it looked quite eerie. The high contrast black and white conversion brings out the creepiness!

Displaced
Displaced

I’ve been meaning to stick this one on here for a couple of months. I really really love this shot. I’ve got a few outtakes here on flickr. I liked the other shots but this one really stood out for me.
I found this bath just sitting in a field next to this gate without a [...]

Swan
Swan

I haven’t updated in a while and it was beginning to annoy me! I’ve got a lot of stuff to put online but I’m always too busy shooting or organising things to find the time to show it. Anyway I thought I’d go through my media library on wordpress and see what I could find, [...]

Woburn Deer Pt 2
Woburn Deer Pt 2

A couple more shots of the Deer here, the top one is my favourite from the set as I was able to create a frame within a frame with the trees. I have another shot from the same location that I took almost two years ago, you can see it on flickr here.

Woburn Deer Pt 1
Woburn Deer Pt 1

This post and the next contain a set of photos of the Deer at Woburn Abbey. I tried to get as close as I could without disturbing these guys.  They’re very wary of what you’re doing if you are any where near them on foot but seem to pay little attention to the passing cars!

Grasses
Grasses

I have a ‘thing’ for photographing grass(es) I did a mini-project on it once (see it here on flickr). I’m not really sure what the attraction is. I like it’s abstract and random nature and enjoy the ability to portray it differently using varied lighting and angles.

Harlington
Harlington

Due to building work being carried out at home I’m currently staying in Harlington, a village just a few miles away. I decided to venture out and get some Spring inspired shots. I’m not entirely convinced that they all shout Spring but I like the shots regardless!
I’ve been having a few issues with my website [...]
